The Cohete boys packed their boards and started out for an epic surf trip to Taghazout located in the South of Morocco.
Their quivers were packed full of different boards including a custom built longboard, but the conditions were perfect for shredding the AMS’s, the Little Mexico and the Jawbreaker, the performance line of Cohete Surfboards. The everyday wave conditions were pumping 4-6 footers generating swells for perfect surfing. The main breaks of Anchor, Boiler and Dracula were generating endless 4-6ft wave sets. Surfing at its finest, low crowds and friendly vibes on almost all the line ups! It was a dream the boys said, “It was a few years back when the team last visited Taghazout and there were even less crowds. There are so many breaks in this region that you can still surf alone either morning or evening! Everyday two sessions, we surfed our brains out and definitely we won’t miss the right breaks for a long time!”
There has been explosive development and infrastructure building in the Taghazout area, signs that shout out that this surf spot is becoming more touristic and more and more popular. “Never the less we were lucky to enjoy what the ocean had to deliver. So cheers to that! Why not visit again for another surf story” says Cohete’s shaper/founder John Tsoutis.
