After a short ferry ride from the main port of Athens Piraeus, we arrived on the holy island of Tinos. Kolympithra and Leivada beaches where the swell generates are located on the east side of the beautiful Aegean island. As soon as we arrived the waves were just starting to generate while the forecast predicted the swell to generate more power through out the day and into the evening. So we jumped in with a soft board to practice our long board skills in the mushy waves. Soon the swell started to roll in and the slop subsided, creating glassy Aegean waves, that was the reason we came to this spot. Italo grabed his EPS Epoxy Carbon Stringer Bandito and the surf was up! Check out some of the photos from the Kolympithra session below.
